Jigs do help, so in the beginning we used a jig. It was basically a wall. It had a rectangle sticking out accept there was no bottom or front. The robot would fit right into it. It leaned against the wall. We used it to do the airplane mission, tsunami, and ambulance. The jig was placed on the west side of the mat. We went straight and turned a bit and did the airplane. We later decided to put a little piece on the jig so that it was on an angle so we didn’t have to do the small turn. It helped a lot to make it more consistent. One thing was keeping it from being more consistent, the wall. The mat was not always in the same place and that ruined it.So from then onward we didn’t use the jig.
